Station building

St Anton am Arlberg, Austria

December 2001
The landscapes of St Anton am Arlberg in Austria are as beautiful as those of Kahoku, but a large new station was required to cope with the huge numbers of visitors for this year's World Skiing Championship. At very short notice, Manzl Ritsch Sandner produced a building that coped with the problems, and at the same time, makes a shining, sympathetic, abstracted contribution to the landscape.
